The problem

The urgent need to address the climate crisis and achieve energy independence is accelerating the adoption of renewable energy sources. When the sun shines and the wind blows, these sources are now able to compete with fossil fuels, but they generate production peaks that are difficult to fully exploit. It is precisely this convergence between abundant clean energy and technological progress that makes the present moment unique and unprecedented for the energy transition.
Yet we are still unable to fully capture the benefits of this opportunity. The need to rapidly eliminate emissions requires the conversion of atmospheric CO₂ into chemical products (eChemicals) and synthetic fuels (eFuels), but this possibility is limited by the high cost of CO₂: capturing and reusing it still requires significant energy and economic inputs, making these solutions not yet competitive.

Our Solution

RapCO2 makes a paradigm shift with the first biological Carbon Capture and Fixation (CCF) process, capable of drastically reducing CO₂ capture costs to the point of making them potentially negligible.

At the core of the solution is eJungle, a modular system capable of obtaining CO₂ from various sources: from outdoor air, from indoor environments — creating exceptionally healthy conditions for occupants through BlueLeaf — and from more concentrated sources such as industrial stacks and biogas plants. In all cases, the technology ensures much lower costs compared to existing solutions, as well as greater tolerance to the impurities typical of real-world streams.

The distinguishing element is the patented process, which enables the free regeneration of capture material — normally the most energy-intensive and complex phase — significantly reducing energy consumption while producing valuable chemical compounds.

eJungle really transforms CO₂ from a cost into a resource, enabling the efficient, scalable, and robust use of renewable energy.
